Hypoactive sexual desire disorder in women: Implications for family practice
This supplement was submitted by DIME and funded through an independent educational
grant from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is a common condition seen in primary care
practices, however, primary care providers tend to avoid the discussion of sexual
problems in the clinical setting. This supplement helps primary care providers break
down the barriers of treating HSDD, establish effective dialogue, and refer patients
when appropriate.
